Pros

Valet Living is a growing company with lots of potential growth for the right people. They offer a great benefit plan at a reasonable price. Insurance still cost more than it needs to because of Obama care but it could be much worse. In my role I get to help people earn extra income for their families. For our residents we serve I get help make their day a little better. This has been a tremendous opportunity for me. I know its cliche but we are like a family company. Still a big company but a family company. I look forward to growing my career with Valet Living.

Cons

While growth is great sometimes I feel that upper management focuses on new revenue opportunities while operations and sales have struggled with maintaining our core service through this rapid expansion. Staffing also presents a challenge as this is a physical job and is not for everyone. When we are short staffed we are usually delayed in getting new associates to work due to the very long time it takes to get them out of background. Field support is often missing and for those District Managers that might be new to this type of role the training program does little to set them up for success. The mentorship program lacks any real accountability on the mentor.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate you sharing your insights on the company and thoughts on how you feel we can improve. Our company is growing quickly, which presents its challenges and we are working diligently on solutions that improve our staffing processes, including our recent change that speeds up our Service Valet hiring process. We value our associates feedback and I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your thoughts and ideas in more detail. Please feel free to email me at antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com if you’d like to set up time to discuss further.
