At this point nothing pro of working here.

Preach all about Mental health and work life balance, yet refuse to hire anyone and make only certain positions work 6 days a week ( when there’s PLENTY of others with the full capability to do the same job.) When working 6 days you have to chose to either take a full non paid day off or work 4 hours on your “day off” just to get your bare minimum 40 hour work week. You’re expected to be at work even when sick. Managers literally leave to go get pedicures and get their lashes done while 2 people are left on the line working. Ridiculous. Work life balance only for those salaried managers.

I enjoy my time at Valley Strong Credit Union. I have worked with many different departments and had the opportunity to work with our Members in different capacities. I enjoy my co-workers and our Members. Senior Management is doing a great job at listening to team members concerns and taking steps to address them. They want us all to see where we are headed and what it will take to get there. That makes the experience better for everyone involved.

Cons

I would like more vacation time for long term team members.
