Pros
Large company, has decent benefits (not nearly as good as they used to be), flexible work hours
Cons
The company routinely demotes good employees and/or gives them bad reviews for no reason other than cost savings and to encourage people to quit so that they can be replaced by a recent college grad for half the pay and benefits. They don't like to say that they have lay offs, so this is what they do. There is no assistance once you have been told that your job has been terminated. The career outlook for older employees is bleak at best. They claim that they "promote from within" but even lateral moves are hard to come by, and you have to be in your current job at least 18 months before being able to apply for another position. This company has totally changed since Bogle left - now ALL they care about is the bottom line. Definitely not a good company for a long term career.
