Pros

After one year I realized the only reason for working there is the benefits (401k, rsp, health).

Cons

It is a culture that worked well for a number of years and based on the work requested, was suitable. Once you require sales and product pushing, you best pay the people that are driving revenue. Instead, you lowered the pay grade and took away bonuses. Sure I can make more by working overtime, but then work/life balance that you tout is gone.

Pros

Easygoing environment, decent benefits, non-commission based so there's not much pressure. Great work/life balance in the entry positions.

Cons

Very low pay when compared with the industry, not much opportunity for career advancement, most positions are call-center based. If you don't become part of the "clique" then you will never advance. If you do decide to work here then I would recommend to Get in, Get licensed, and Get out!
