      Worklife Balance, WFH, Unlimited PTO

      Cons

      Laid me off while I was out for a procedure. While I was trying to get well, they were calling me to tell me my position was eliminated. I would have never thought they do their employees like that, I was very shocked and disappointed.

      Poor Processes and bad culture

      Pros

      Maxar is one of the few commercial space companies in the US. if one wants to work in space but not directly for the DOD there are opportunities.

      Cons

      Maxar is not a stable company at the moment as they were recently purchased by a PE firm.

      Not what it once was.

      Pros

      Some great team members still work there who are dedicated to their jobs and each other.

      Cons

      Layoffs and attrition are up while morale is at an all time low. More responsibilities being dumped on the reaming team members and they are not compensated for tremendous amount of extra work they have. I loved working here prior to Advent taking over, now I am just a number.
