Lots of room for improvement, but friendly atmosphere.

-This company is going through change constantly. “Growing” through acquisition. -Salaries paid are low compared to similar organizations. -There are very few good leaders, and those that lead are getting burned out or simply leaving. -Virtually no real training is provided to folks beyond the catalog of old and outdated online courses. Thanks, but no thanks. -6 months into the year, some team members still don’t have comp. plans and haven’t been informed of when they’ll get paid out on recent upsells/cross-sells. -There is little (or improper) QA being performed after releases, leading to what seems to be preventable issues. -Constant internal issues with phone systems and email.

Regarding your query, as our new team members know, our primary growth strategy is through mergers and acquisitions – as such, we are integrating new companies and trying to improve procedures to best fit all our needs as well develop a strong strategy for continued growth for everyone moving forward. And while this may at times translate into a delay in processes, the result is more beneficial for everyone in the long run. We value our employees and are always looking for ways to show our appreciation, whether it be through company-wide shout outs or monetary bonuses. As an organization, we work to create partnerships with all our employees through our career path planning, which allows employees to take control of their own career development while management provides tools to help them achieve their goals. As for management, every department operates differently, but we all do our best to uphold our company values and recognize those who work hard.

Worst Work Culture Ever

Good location, nice building, products are easy to sell

Cons

Preferential treatment, if you are not a part of the club then they lie and tell you they will send you leads and never do (when they hired you specifically with leads as the major part of you selling). HR has no idea what happens on the floor (straight up bullies and the most unprofessional atmosphere you can imagine)

Excitement about plans and the achievable

No support to get you to your plan or no help to achieve your goals. It had been a terrible experience to hear the talk, but not seeing a realistic support mechanism to get you to your goals. You ask for help, they say they'd help. And they don't. The leadership doesn't understand certain verticals. They think sales is sales, leaving them novice in some speciality industries. They try to make goal without listening to people and they fail. And they lay people off for their mistakes. Text book amateur software company management attribute.

There is a well-documented process for managing performance at Vector Solutions which includes receiving the training and coaching required to increase or enhance performance.
