Pros

Veracross has a special culture that deeply values employees. There's a shared team-oriented mindset that leads to a fun and healthy work environment. Compensation and benefits are competitive. Working with private schools is challenging (in a good way) because their needs are broad and ever changing, which provides good opportunity to keep evolving the product and team.

Cons

There can be seasons where everyone is extremely busy.

Pros

Great, hard-working, and fun team to be a part of. Transparency and having a relatively "flat" company seem important to management.

Cons

Entire company is hourly (everything over 40 hours is time and half) - works well for most but can be inconsistant.

Pros

-Great people to work with! Management is easy to talk to, and they really invest in their employees and actively try to create a positive and supportive working environment. -Very collaborative team. People are always in each other’s offices asking questions, discussing projects, seeking to resolve technical issues. -Employees are given a lot of responsibility without management hovering over their shoulders, critiquing. Management supports its employees even when clients might be unhappy. -Cool and innovative software that helps you gain incredible technical experience -A lot of job security especially the longer you work there (aka the more product knowledge you have) -Fun company events like happy hours, summer/holiday parties, and team dinners. -Coworkers like and respect one another! -Opportunities to travel domestically and internationally. -Family-oriented culture where coworkers and supervisors value your life beyond just the workplace

Cons

-Busy season will increase workload. -Takes time to become expert on the product
