- great company culture - rewards hard work & innovation - common sense management - little-to-no bureaucracy - treats employees like professionals (nice offices, hands-off management style) - lots of opportunity to learn and grow

* Have your own office * Will hire people from different fields than software or new grads * Family friendly * Have a gym/snacks/coffee, etc. Try to give you company perks.

Cons

*Onboarding program basically non-existent * Management has very little experience at any other company than Veracross and does not do a good job setting up people for success. * You are made to feel this is a very professional environment with a business casual and your own office, but you're still only making 40k and paid hourly. * The path to growth is unclear and often seems people rise through nepotism or being involved in the same religious group as upper management. * Disorganized software architecture

Pros

The best group of people to work with, from personal experience. People are respectful and courteous. I worked under one of the two engineering directors and he was a great mentor. Work environment is truly unparalleled.

Cons

No 401K match yet, but they might be looking into that by now
