Thanks for your feedback. VBA reimburses mileage at the federal rate of $0.62 per mile, plus $15 per hour for drive time. Every effort is made to assign clients that are close to employees residences, but initial commutes are also eligible for the same reimbursement if they are lengthy in time or distance. We have a simple approval system for this. We provide a majority of our hours in public schools and follow their calendars. To be assigned these cases you generally need to arrive when the student arrives and be available until the end of the school day. You then have the option to receive paid drive time and mileage to a home client for an opportunity to work an additional 2-2.5 hours with no caps on overtime. School cases are 32-35 hours of work during daytime with little to no driving between clients, then if you are available for a home case, with paid drive time, you will have the opportunity to work 10+ additional hours per week.
