Pros

My one-year at Verily is around the corner. I can say that in my 10-year professional career I have worked with the smartest and hands-on people thus far. I've had a true sense of ubuntu dating back to first working with the recruiter that has carried over to today. The products that we are working on have a chance to be life and world changing -- this makes me proud of my work and happy to share with my friends and family what I do on a daily basis. (I didn't want to write the common pros via pay & benefits although those are plentiful)

Cons

The unknowns of a pre-ipo company. Some may find this super exciting though! I for one am a huge believer in the company, the products and the direction we are headed in though!

Leadership is very supportive and cares about the well being of the staff. They are engaged and interested in improving aspects of the work/life balance. It's an exciting time to be at Verily as the company grows and matures. Great opportunities being within the Alphabet family.

Cons

Policies and procedures may not exist, get involved at all levels.
