Pros

Never the same, constant learning experience. Cashiers need to have the same knowledge of a floor salesperson but don't have sales goals, mostly focus on customer experience and beauty

Cons

i worked at multiple stores, if you are not a STRONG sales person stick with cashier or back of house. Pay could be better

Pros

co-workers, contributing to customer's confidence, friendly competition. I want to be clear: The COMPANY is amazing- the things they believe in, their community out-reach, etc. However they drop the ball with upper management and not evaluating them properly from the viewpoint of assocaites and anyone under Store Managers.

Cons

pathetic pay for associates: go to a foodstore or bank and you'll make at least $2 more oer hour. No respect from upper management. Major favoritism- if they don't like you, they will force you out. They claim to care about a work-life balance, this is not the case. You are expected to drop everything and make changes in your day to accommodate their needs if someone calls out.

Pros

-Focus on inspiring & leading -Workshops on new products/topics once a month -Continuous training -Great corporate mission and consistent execution throughout all of the stores -The company spends a lot of money on marketing & training materials

Cons

-If you are excelling in the role you were hired to fulfill you will be seen as "valuable" and will be overworked. You will be given illusionary opportunities to move up. No matter how hard you work they will keep you in the same position because it makes the management look better & they don't want to take the time to develop new associates. -The management only cares about themselves and will stifle your desire to grow within the company -The attitudes of the management teams are very negative. The store manager was always too stressed and irrationally taking it out on the subordinates. -Horrible pay for all the hard work that is required at the store level.
