Pros

Okay salaries, good discount on cheap product.

Cons

Management conducts witch hunts led by HR initiatives. Lots of turn around and lay offs. Very stressful place to work.

Pros

* Bra buy-ins ($15 usually, occasionally we get them for free) * Can be a fun, supportive work environment.

Cons

* The company now offers a sales incentive to its salespeople - a monthly bonus based on their individual sales. What used to be a team-based environment where everyone pitched in to support one another has become extremely cut-throat, with sellers stealing sales from one another and creating a high level of stress over maintaining sales numbers. Additionally, non-sales associates (cashiers, processors and other support associates) are not eligible for bonuses, meaning that their base pay is their base pay regardless of performance. Everyone is expected to contribute to the store's sales (and a great deal of pressure is placed on that), but only certain people are rewarded for it. Victoria's Secret has essentially become a two-tier employer, with one level of employees being very well compensated for their work, and the other only moderately. Everyone makes at least $10 an hour now, but if you're in sales support, don't expect it to be much higher than that, and don't expect raises to be frequent.
