Pros

Solid training & I met some cool people here

Cons

I can only speak as a sales rep and not for any other department in the company.. Victory isn’t the worst place to work but it’s definitely meant for newer people coming into the sales industry who don’t know any better.. As a rep you will be assigned pre set appointments and your job is to go meet with these clients and close the deal. They train high pressure sales tactics or better known as the “1 call close” what this means is you are required to close to deal on the initial visit or you won’t get the commission. That means no following up and no true relationship building (which is everything in sales) they basically have an entire department dedicated to following up and if a customer is dump enough to pay their outrageous prices & choose to use Victory after you met with them, than you won’t get the sale or the commission. Selling there services isn’t easy either as they are about 5x the price of what the industry average is. For example for roofing they charge about $12-$13+ per sq ft and they try to get away with charging this much by saying they are Master Elite with GAF and one of the only companies to carry this certification. (It’s not true at all). As you’ll see if you work here there are many other Master Elite/ Platinum Preferred companies who charge $5-6 per sq ft. So guess what? You will loose to those companies every time. In my opinion this company is kinda a scam with how much they charge people for their services and based on the many not so great google reviews you’d think if they are this expensive they would go out of their way to be perfect., I guess not. My advice is if you’re new to sales join Victory for a few months, learn the ropes than go join a company whose prices are much more reasonable and allow follow ups. You’ll make way more money & close way more jobs and just have a better work life balance at a smaller company.
