Quick to Layoffs

Pros

The people are fantastic, and fun to work with. The environment encourages collaboration, and the company promotes great work life balance. They pay well (but probably also contributes to why they lay people off).

Cons

Horrible with planning - second straight year of layoffs - especially of impactful people. You always hear about how “their people are so important,” yet they are quick to layoffs. They do a very good job of making you feel appreciated and important, but will quickly move on when business strategy changes.

Started off well with good mission/product, but NO "Future" at all

Pros

- Good work/life balance - some of the nicest team members - at-par pay for a start-up

Cons

- No clear vision or direction for future - Original 'Mission' has completely forgotten - Dire need of cash$, otherwise will go out of business >6-9months - No clear future direction, keep changing from one 'all hands' meeting to another - poor overall benefits (especially if you have a family)
