Pros

The best part of my job was getting to know clients and knowing I made a difference in their days. I also enjoyed learning about a new city by traveling to different neighborhoods and being able to set my own schedule.

Cons

It was frustrating to be called by the agency multiple times per day. The office staff called me consistently asking me to work on days I listed as unavailable and outside of my driving radius.

Pros

The clients are usually great.

Cons

Underpaid, No vacation, Hours all over the place and poor schedules. You give them an availability and they never follow it. If you don't pick up the last minute shifts they won't give you hours. You can have a full schedule one minute and literally have your whole week removed the next with no compensation. The wear and tear on your car is insane. You're literally a cash cow to them nothing else.

Pros

Clients are senior citizens looking for care

Cons

Employers don't care about their employees or their clients. They set bonus targets which are unattainable. Owners are constantly out of the country for long periods of time.
