Pros

At the time of this review, I've been with the company for 10 years. It is a great place to work. We have gone through many changes over the years. When I started, we had 8 people, tiny clients, and things were hard. We worked long hours, didn't get paid all that much, and basically worked our butts off for each and every paycheck. We've come a LONG way. We now have great insurance benefits, yearly bonuses, unlimited time off, tons of room for growth, actual salaries, company paid lunches, fun days, and best of all amazing clients and coworkers. Can the workload be overwhelming? Sure. At times we have to put in serious hours to get the job done. But this is an agency and we are a services company. I think some of the reviewers on here have forgotten that. I have worked at multiple agencies and there is a reason I've been here for over a decade. Some companies are content with being a boutique shop with 8 people. But Zac Gregg isn't. He wants to be bigger and better every year. He wants bigger clients and better clients. He wants his people to love working here and it shows. Things are constantly changing for the better. And this year, we implemented a system that gives literally everyone a say in everything.

Cons

I'm sure there are some cons that I could list here, but based on our weekly L10 meetings, these would be gone within 30 days anyway.

Pros

I spent 6+ years at Vital Design, an innovative, high-energy digital marketing agency that was very supportive of helping me achieve an optimal work-life balance every step of the way. I learned an immense amount there, working with a fascinating array of clients alongside engaged and talented teammates. The experience sharpened my writing and editing skills, as well as my understanding of such topics as Technology Entrepreneurship, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, Brandstorming, eCommerce, Third Party Logistics, Health Informatics, Industrial Robotics, Emotional Intelligence, AI, UX, 5G, AI, the IoT and much, much more.

Cons

A rapid growth trajectory (plus the stupid pandemic) caused a few bumps in the road, but Vital is actively solving for organizational issues common to companies that grow quickly.

Pros

The people. Vital has done a good job finding the best people around. Coworkers are smart and fun to work with. Vital is always trying to improve and everyone can play a part in that effort. They have made a lot of investments in people, process, and culture.

Cons

Nothing stands out, every company has issues, but generally everyone there is doing their best to make Vital a great place to be.
