Pros

Free food, fun coworkers, management cared (for a time).

Cons

Advancing is a game of who you know, not how good you are at your job. The company was more concerned with the bottom line than whether its employees were happy. Several departments got smashed together and upper management couldn't keep up. Employees weren't treated the same as when I started and because of new ownership we had to "trim the fat" everywhere, which then meant no upward mobility and more responsibility for the same pay.

Pros

Easy job, located in Best Buy.

Cons

Horribly managed, pay plans change often. Hired in at $17/hr received a pay cut before I even received my 1st check!!!!! Then dipped further and took money from a previous check from the one I was currently being paid

Pros

Good experience and decent money especially for a Summer or temporary job. Great for a single person with no family or social life.

Cons

Fast burn out. On call, leaving for jobs that start at 8am with only 30 mins to get there when the job is 40 mins away. You get paid off your quality score which consists of a variety of stipulations that must be met to get good pay, and there is no room for running into problems (of which there are always many) every home is different, often a salesman will lie to a customer and promise them tech will do something Vivint does not do. You will leave for a job around 7am and get home likely around 10pm, I was lucky to get home that early. I got home often past 1am and occasionally at 2am, then had to be at a job at 8am. The pay is not worth it. You have to learn on the spot and on your own often. Your lucky if you get a manager that takes you through the online training. Be prepared to be guilted into doing jobs till late nights and to interact with coworkers and salesmen that drink and party and are stoned half the time. And have coworkers tell you things to tell the customers that is complete BS and you don't realize you are lying to a customer.
