No set hours, pay below other retailers, constantly watching employees while shoplifters go free, unrealistic with time clock punching in and out, no tolerance of being even one minute late, no food or drink on the floor no matter what, no use of cellular devices even in an emergency, no breaks, understaffed,not allowed to ever sit, must clean the store and not part of job description or getting paid to clean. Received a book as a Christmas bonus about Von Maur and how they made all of their money. Would have rather received a monetary gift for the holidays or nothing. Treated more like a work horse rather than a respected employee.

Not allowed to drink water during your shift except if you can get away from your department for a second, which if you are busy you are not allowed to do. Men get to wear suits, women should also be allowed to wear them. This is discriminating. Its 10 degrees here and we have to walk from the far side of the parking lot in bare legs or hose because women have to wear skirts or dresses.
