people get fired for ANYTHING all the time. goals/expectations/attendance- they MEAN it. be on time and sell your butt off. they're only on your side as long as you're playing the game. don't think for a min. that you're golden and relax- always be at your best.

They are super strict in basiically every aspect imaginable. If you don't make your numbers,open credit cards, or are late (even by 1 minute) chances are you will get terminated. They have extremely inflexible schedules. Technically, you're only supposed to close at most 3 times a week; there were times I was closing 7 days straight! Upper Management is AWFUL. I've never worked somewhere where the managers are so clueless about their own team/store/merchandise. They never appreciate or acknowledge the great things associates accomplish, but will be down your back w/in a second if you so much as to use the restroom w/o asking for permission. There's a reason this company's turnover rate is so high. To top it off the store has a 1950s environment. Women have to wear dresses/skirts w/panty hose at all times, and the computer system... Well there basically isn't one. Also there is NO room for growth or even raises.
