Pros

Employees are very friendly. I love the people in my department. We are like family. I love to meet new people and most of the customers are very sweet and nice.

Cons

Strict! Everything from a min late Tardy, sales goals, dress code, etc. Upper management likes to contradict everything that is said. They tell you to tell a customer one thing, they get upset, call a mgr and here they are to make it all better. The employees look like idiots and not allowed any sort of authority what-so-ever. Turnover rate is super high.

Pros

Sunday pay Clean environment Friendly co-workers on the floor Good benefits

Cons

Tess No respect or confidence from upper management Very young upper management, hardly anyone over 30 Upper management only cares about numbers, not their employees Always thinks silly games and competitions will boost morale when in truth only giving your employees trust and respect will. Making their employees (especially dept.managers) work 6 day weeks during December, while the staff at corporate only do 5, making the holidays hard to enjoy.

Pros

fair hourly wage, benefits, 401k, time and a half on sunday, closed holidays with pay.

Cons

One four letter word.....TESS. (The electronic scheduling system). Scheduling was taken away from department managers and turned over to a computer. Shifts are longer...shifts are shorter, and the stretches between days off should be illegal. Some have been up to 11 days straight. You never know when you will be working or for how long. A part time shift can be 7 or 8 days straight, 3 hours. Or just a few days with 8 hours. You can't plan anything, they expect you to put business needs ahead of your own life. Employees are miserable. Most are job hunting.
