Pros

Relatively positive environment, company will match your donations to charity, lots of room for promotion, plenty of available hours, health care, etc.

Cons

You need to work at least 24 hours per week to get health benefits; if you call in sick once and have just 18 hours for that week, you lose your benefits for the entire month. The dress code is tolerable, no visible tattoos, piercings, beards (moustaches okay), unnatural haircolor, or dreadlocks. If you have a happy manager, life is sensible. If your manager hates their life, they have the power to take it out on you and calling corporate will only make your manager get a call asking the situation.

The company changes your hours without notice and you are expected to jump. Does not value employees with an education. Corp expects 24 hours of work in a 10 1/2 hour work day.

Excellent benefits, outrageously inexpensive health insurance. Flexible hours is a plus when you are in school. Lean on your department management to help you with the upper management and you will be just fine.

Cons

Starting at the bottom of the union pay scale when you have experience is really different.
