Pros
Some flexibility on hours, easy interview Depending on the job itself, it can be fairly straightforward, and a decent job right out of high school. The Union is fairly strong and HR is willing to handle any sort of harassment allegations on the spot.
Cons
Management, corporate expectations in certain departments. I worked in Deli and E-comm, the expectations for these departments are unreal some days. In e-comm, there are days where you have order after order, no help, and if you send an email to corporate they will tell you to kick rocks. You are effectively on your own, and regardless of how much effort you put in, if you cannot do physically do everything you get punished AND have to deal with the angry customers.
