Pros

The one good thing I can say about this company is that they did have a lot of really smart and great people working for them - it's just a shame that leadership doesn't give them an opportunity to maximize their skills which I'm sure explains their turn-over rate. Throughout my time at Vytalize, I saw 5 different team members resign, all of which had nothing good to say about their experience. For reference, I worked there less than a year. Aside from that, no other pros - Company pitched an "open space and collaborative environment" to get me in the door but pushed back IMMEDIATELY once suggestions were offered. Do not recommend this company for young professionals looking to grow.

Cons

Everything! Leadership was awful, extensive micromanagement, extremely political and completely unorganized. My opinion is that the company grew really fast and they tried hiring as many people as possible without considering their specific role in the company. This created chaos and led to a number of layoffs that could've easily been avoided. Senior leadership is not forward thinking and is reactive to problems/issues rather than proactive. Also, everyone is a Director or Vice President.... why? What is the purpose of that? That just leads me to believe that they overestimated their growth in 2022-2023 and had to readjust at the end of the fiscal year. Something that could've been avoided, very easily. To put it simply, everyone was a leader and no one was a worker - which resulted in all of these great ideas being thrown around but nothing actually being done because leadership couldn't agree. Very frustrating work environment for a young professional.

Pros

The benefits are good. Many of the people, including the CEO, are really lovely people.

Cons

Once you get “in”, you see the onion and the layers are deep. The favoritism is horrible. If you’re a favorite, you can treat other employees any way you want, and they not only get away with it, they are rewarded. They rule by fear. You may not make a mistake or you will pay. You work 12 hour days and then are told it’s not enough. There are virtually zero processes put into place, and no KPIs, but if you are not perfect, you will be fired or threatened. Recruitments are lost daily due to not allowing anyone in the company the authority to make decisions. Employees are promised huge commissions and then…. Nothing..
