Pros

I learned a lot about banking processes.

Cons

Poor incentive program for Personal Bankers. The incentive program is the same for the whole bank even in the really slow areas. Forced to hard sell products. No career opportunities unless you want to move closer to Wilmington, DE.

Pros

None really...you get a pay check but for 20k a year, you can make this anywhere.

Cons

For a recent college graduate looking into the "personal banker" position, please look elsewhere...you will be very underpaid, learn very little marketable skills, you are basically a "teller"--personal banker at WSFS is just a fancy name for "teller" who are able to open checking and savings account. No advancement opportunities...good luck trying to get into any other departments. Everyone thinks everything is "awesome"...one of the most, overused term in that company...Management is ridiculous, lots of D- students and lots of favoritism! Recent college graduates: please go somewhere else and learn some more marketable skills..in this day and age, customer service skill is important but there's a lot of places, better places where you can learn that.

Pros

The team I'm on is great. They're all friendly and helpful when I have questions. My management team is awesome and actually shows interest in what we want to do as individuals as far as career advancement. We have fun and joke around, it feels like a little family. I am able to trust my teammates with anything. They are flexible with our time, say if something comes up and we have to leave early, we're able to work around it and they aren't super strict with time off or needing to adjust schedules.

Cons

Many teams are shorthanded and it puts a lot on us individually and as a team. Though I know every job seems to be struggling to maintain workers nowadays. Some aspects are disorganized and inter-team communication seems to be a bit messy. They also really prefer we work in the office, though we've been remote for so long due to Covid. Other locations seem to be prioritized since they are the main hubs (Delaware).
