Pros

The bank truly cares about its employees. Wages, compensation, and time off are adequate, but the sense of being part of a team is where the bank shines. Also, having worked at another bank and feeling the stress of high pressure sales goals everyday, I now love coming to work everyday.

Cons

No personal time is given. I have over 600 hours of sick time available (carried over from my previous bank that was acquired by WaFed), but if I need to take a personal day to help my kids with something, I am not allowed to take a sick/personal day. I am required to use vacation time.

Thank you for your headline, I feel the same way. You are right about the PTO, it is something many others are offering and it puts us at a competitive disadvantage. We will look further into it

Thank you for your feedback,. I would respectfully disagree about caring for employees and you can see that we are taking steps to address compensation. Wish you the best in your future.

Pros

Wonderful benefits. Coworkers are amazing. I like to be able to work at a bank that treats their clients like real human beings, instead of a number (like most larger banks). Management and back office is extremely helpful when I have questions.

Cons

The pay. The pay for what I feel I am putting in, is horrible. I have been working for this bank for over 5 years and you would think (knowing the capita of the bank) they would pay their employees WAY better. I also believe this company needs to have a better way to train employees. Because the branches are so small staffed, we are unable to work one on one with new hires.

Thanks for your feedback, we ackowledge that in some ares we have fallen behind compared to the market in pay. That is why we provided the 5% increase in addition to normal increases in Jan 2018, but we still have more work to do. Finding the balance is an art not a science and we are working at it.
