Pros

Free ORCA card, decent benifits

Cons

Compensation is a joke. Offering at least 10k less than other jobs with the same title in Seattle. Management has terrible communication with people below them Profit at any cost mentality Non-technical people are managing technical folks very poorly Unwillingness from upper management to invest in critical infrstructure

I appreciate your perspective. It is a balance trying to compete in Seattle with the likes of Amazon for top talent, while still delivering our cost of capital in a mature industry. I wish you well in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great benefits, you build a personal rapport with your customers, no high sales pressure, products are genuine and have little to no fine print, learn to perform a lot of different tasks and great support teams.

Cons

High health insurance deductible, poor training for new employees, terrible pay, you are given tasks beyond your job description, expected to perform tasks within multiple roles, you aren't fairly compensated for tasks performed, little to know acknowledgement, no support from higher positions, no real room for growth, no set procedures and guidelines, no "care" for their employees.

Thanks for your comments and advice. We are rolling out a training initiative this year and more defined career paths. If you look around and see all of the people that will be retiring in the next 5 years, I think the opportunities are immense for those with the skills and the drive.
