Pros

Relaxed atmosphere, like a library job: sometimes it gets busy, but many times you are doing e-learning after e-learning to keep yourself entertained. Focus on soft-sell "invest in the client" mentality. So sale goals not nearly as stressful as other banks. Branch leadership is usually supportive of you, however I have heard of other branches not being as lucky.

Cons

Pay is very low compared to other banks, high turnover which means planning vacation time you have to consider your branch being understaffed, training is minimal. They say that it takes 2 years to really know your job...well most of that is self-driven. Branch manager is more concerned about doing loans than actually managing the branch. So good luck reaching out to them if you want to get anywhere.

Pros

Solid bank with long history Recent major systems investment

Cons

Many long-tenured employees and executive management that are not willing to change Very flat management - the Executive Committee still approves virtually every invoice Pay scale needs to be revamped - they say their fully loaded compensation is competitive but it doesn't feel like it is Lots of "dead wood" but they won't do anything about it.

Pros

None!! there really are no pros, two branch manager have left.

Cons

Once you really start working here, the pretty picture they paint during interviews goes away. You find yourself with no real training or clients to meet your goals. The products they sell are nothing amazing or can compete with other Banks
