Disrespected, walked on and not appreciated by upper management.

Pros

Branch and department staff are great. Gained good experience. Good 401k plan.

Cons

Pay, bonus and raises ($50 a month) are a joke. As a manager and almost 10 years I make less than some tellers at competing banks. Recently upgraded technology is archaic and hard to work. Upper management exhibits extreme favoritism, giving their favorites promotions without ever posting the position for others to apply. It is clear that you are just a number to them and they have no respect or regard for you as a working class human being. They have zero integrity, which happens to be a core values of theirs that they pretend to focus on.

You are right we would be nothing without our really hard working employees. We are working on improving technology and training on our system. We are a total compensation company, so yes base may be lower but all in compensation is very competitive. Thank you for your feedback, I would be happy to hear of examples of favoritism and the lack of integrity. You can call me or email me any time, your feedback will be applauded whether we agree with it or not. Our strength is our great people.

Pros

401k benefits, high sodium food in the break room, sodas with a high sugar content, and an 8 hour paying job.

Cons

Low pay, not challenging, management, and employees who back stab one another to get a higher pay. The bank is not competitive with other companies when it comes to paying employees. Internal transfers to gain more knowledge or development is frowned upon. Most times you won't get an increase even if it's a different position and if they do give an increase its $.50 more. Living in the Seattle area no one can make a living with the salary that they pay you. They try to offset the pay with a semiannual bonus which is variable based on how the company does for the year. Management do not listen to employees, for years that I've worked there I've had a few conversations with my manager about compensation and growth opportunities, but was always put on the back burner.
