Pros

Work from home policy, competitive salary and great benefits, Mentor program

Cons

False sense of advancement potential. No real help with Licensure across the disciplines. Principals are accessible, but policy change is impossible.

Pros

Friendly staff and lots of work

Cons

Work load and staff percentage is not equal. Things look great from the outside/onset, but things are what they seem. Compension doesn't match the workload or politics.

Pros

Health insurance costs, company Christmas party in CA

Cons

Not a good work environment for women, people of color, etc. Knew of a few women who became pregnant and subsequently lost opportunities and struggled to gain success at the company. Managers are not trained on how to promote a healthy office culture. There was a lot of back stabbing and pointing fingers toward new people as well as to other teams within the company. Many poor managers that refused to take responsibility for their teams. Creativity rarely encouraged. Company standards prioritized too highly.

We have received your feedback about our Newark office. Alleging discrimination is a significant issue and one that Ware Malcomb takes very seriously. The Newark office has received no internal complaints of discrimination of any kind for the entire history of its existence--16 years--and has not been notified by the New Jersey Division of Civil Rights of any such complaints either. In addition, there have been only two pregnant team members at the office in the past 3 years, and one is still on leave and the other was recently promoted prior to taking her leave in the very near future. Given the significant discrepancies in this review with the facts of our company, we believe the review is fabricated, malicious, or posted in error. Our policies provide team members with more than one avenue to raise any issues. They may go to their immediate supervisor; or bypass their supervisor if the supervisor is unavailable or the team member feels uncomfortable going to a particular supervisor, then they may go directly to Human Resources. At Ware Malcomb we pride ourselves on being a great place to work, and strictly prohibit discrimination of any kind. That is simply not allowed or accepted in our culture.
