Pros

- Some teams were great to collaborate and have a chat. Good way to stay in touch and network - Nice location of their corporate office - Monthly company socializing and other events - Free food and company swags - Decent benefits package - Casual tech company attire that you see nowadays - Executives are accessible

Cons

- Felt like a bro culture during my time there - Cronyism and nepotism, so good luck getting a promotion to Senior or higher level role - Turnover rate - Pay was low compared to same role of other neighboring companies - Lacks cognitive diversity (not to be mistaken by the other definition of diversity, they're good on that). - They seem to hire like minded mannerism - Some of the people who's been there for decades or longer are stuck with their outdated ways of thinking - Some of the new people there were left to be guessing around and figuring things out themselves - 20+ years and still acts like a startup

Pros

- Very nice people for the most part. - Great location for commuters who take public transit - Free snacks - Celebrates small milestones

Cons

- Little to zero on-boarding process. There is no documentation on how things get done and where to find assets. - Has culture of doing things the old way and bringing new ideas and methods for improvement is not well-received. Keep your lips sealed or else. - Poor management of employees - Lack of structure - Managers lack managing experience

Pros

Good location right across from Safeco and Century Link fields. Easy access to planes, trains and busses and lots of good restaurants.

Cons

Management seems to be oblivious to how you get employees excited to come to work. Instead of positive reinforcements they use negative. Instead of being role models they have a do as I say not as I do mode of managing. The management team seems to be stuck in a time warp of leading by command and control. Employees are not viewed as valuable assets but people who can be blamed for mistakes. The weird thing about the mistakes is that they often occur because employees are having to guess what the boss wants because communications are that bad. They are rehashing an old product direction that has failed in the past and nothing has changed.
