Pros

Watkins offers excellent benefits, their 401K is matched to 100%, from the day I started I had a good amount of PTO and now after 10 years I earn more than I am able to use. I do not feel guilty about taking my PTO, Watkins encourages us to use the hours we earn and enjoy our time off. I get along with my team and my manager really well and feel supported. When Covid hit we were forced to adapt and instantly went paperless while we worked from home, we discovered we are not only able to do that but we are THRIVING in this new environment.

Cons

-No paid maternity or paternity leave -Mandatory return to the office 2 days per week for most employees.

Hello, Thank you for your review! It's great to hear that you are satisfied with the work-life balance that Watkins offers. As for your comments regarding maternity/paternity leave, please connect with our Employee Wellness team (Dio and Lorena) to see what options are available to you. Regarding the hybrid work model we returned to last month (two in-office days each week), we encourage you to share your feedback with your People and Culture Business Partner. We understand that any in-office time is an adjustment after two years of remote work; we are interested in hearing how the transition has been for you so far.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to provide your review. The Pros you have listed are certainly areas that we are proud of. In terms of the Cons, many of our departments offer flexible work schedules and we encourage employees who are wanting more flexibility in their schedules to discuss this with their respective managers. We do strive to attract people at all stages of their careers and are always open to introducing new ideas and events that are attractive to new and existing employees. If you have any specific requests or suggestions for company events, you are always welcome to present those to anyone in our People Services team, or specifically to Sandra Shuda, VP of People and Culture. Best Regards, S. Gaier, Director of Talent Acquisition

Pros

-I love my co-workers -Lots of training opportunities

Cons

-Salary does not match work load -As they get larger they are cutting back on some of the things that made it SPECIAL to work here... feels a lot like profits over people now.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write your review and for your 10 plus years of contributions. It is true that we are a growing company and have experienced year-over-year growth for the past 40 plus years! People have been and continue to be a main focus without company. This goes for both our employees and our customers. I am sorry to hear that your experience has been otherwise. If you can provide examples of things that were cut back and why it feels like profit over people, I can review those examples internally with the Executive team further. At Watkins Wellness, people matter most and we are committed to making sure our employees know this. Thank you again, -S. Gaier, Director of Talent Acquisition
