Cons

Hard to move present career to higher career even you have degree and higher level of practical experiences, because higher management doesn't care about them.

Cares about employees. In a recent downturn, they refrained from laying off when they easily could have. Fairly open to new ideas and new ways of doing things if you can justify them.

Cons

Some aspects of the culture are rooted in the old ways and it clashes a bit with how much of the company (most of it) is lean.

Pros

You're allowed to pursue almost any venture you'd like as long as you justify it reasonably. There is a lot of low hanging fruit, so it isn't difficult to make an impression and create a name for yourself.

Cons

Management lacks clear focus and objectives. Knee jerk reactions to perceived problems are common and often result in unproven and ill-advised changes in direction or strategy. The mantra/list of priorities of the company is supposed to be People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (PQDC). However, their actions often lead one to believe that they operate in this order DCQP. It’s a shame.
