Pros

Your job is VERY secure. Full timers are rarely let go no matter how incompetent they are. Retirement plan is very good.

Cons

Management is panicky and very heavy handed. There is no consideration for work life balance at all. They hire smart people but then do not listen to them so talent leaves. This breed a culture of old timers who can't think in modern ways mixed with new comers that can't understand why previous decisions were made. The result is a total lack of accountability since non technical managers make technical decisions and then go home on time when the technical people are stuck cleaning up after them. The only way to survive is to remove passion for work and/or family.

Pros

Great pay. Decent benefits. Very busy, and you'll never get bored. Regular customers can give a family environment. Lot's of opportunity to move up internally.

Cons

You're expected to drive to other stores off the clock before and after your shift. You need to be available 24/7, and drop what you are doing if there is a call off. Called in when on vacation. And once you hit 40 hours, you're expected to complete all paperwork off the clock. Not enough labor to keep up with high customer demands, and tasks. No respect from upper management. High expectations on internal audits.
