Pros

If you like fast pace like me this is a good place to work. However you get some lazy people who can make the job more demanding.

Cons

The corporate staff is out of touch with store operations. A big problem is they make people GM's of stores when they aren't qualified to fill the walk-in cooler. They cut labor hours and expect the same results. Store survey they offer to customers is not consistent. I go into my local Wawa at least 3 times a week and have never been offered to fill out a survey (Blue Bell).

Pros

The company is incredible with amazing benefits. Employee Stock Ownership Plan is second to none Vacation time

Cons

Degrading job Associates do not respect management as everyone is looked at on the same level. Consistent time and attendance issues run rampant across many stores. Expected to do run the store on bare bones labor consistently. Constantly running short as associates are always late or do not show up.

Highest paid in the industry and great facilities; great training!

Cons

Nepotism, Directors need to keep a better eye on their Area Managers. They're either sleeping with their GMs or hooking up their buddies.
