Pros

It’s a paycheck.Things could be a lot better if General Managers were more professional.

Cons

First of all as a customer service associate the maximum amount of hours you can get is 32 so they can keep you at part time and don’t have to give you benefits. With the managers the bonus check rules and they will cheat to get them , doing things like having employees change the expiration dates on the meats that are used on hoagies. Resetting the timer on the coffee dispensers. Changing the holding time on the hot sandwiches under the heat lamps especially the sizzli breakfast sandwiches, they will falsifie store recordings to pad the inventory. and cheat on haccp recordings. I could go on and on. There is too much favoritism toward the employees where some are treated well and others are not which makes the workplace so unfair. And the gossip from associates and managers is out of control. Again I could go on and on, don’t call out sick , you will be treated very unfavorably. Don’t have an accident as this goes against the general manager’s bonus and they will treat their bonus better than they will treat you. Corporate doesn’t have any idea how things are in the stores because when they come around it is usually announced and every one is expected to be on there best behavior by the manager. And things are hidden from corporate.

Pros

The only pro is the pay and even that’s in the air because my offer was changed after I accepted it and decreased by a full dollar.

Cons

The management is god awful. Imagine bringing awareness to being offered cocaine by a team lead, telling management, and the associate just gets transferred to another store where they get fired for theft. Imagine being criticized for your work performance that is directly impacted by the management who would spend more time holding up a wall and ensuring they’re off work on time while a regular CSA is forced to stay an extra 30 minutes past their shift because the Food and Beverage manager felt it wasn’t their responsibility to make sure someone was replacing the previous shift. Imagine working in a food establishment that it hyper critical of associate cleanliness but when a manager makes beverage for her husband with no gloves and without washing her hands. Imagine having your grievances completely ignored as associates steal food and eat in the back of the house. General managers spend more time doing things outside the store and work less than half of the hours they are required to make up for their salary. Employees that refused to treat a trans coworker with respect and refused to refer to her as anything other than a man because. Just an overall awful work environment.

Pros

You can get stock in the company

Cons

You will not get promoted, every location is understaffed, no one at corporate will care about you. Customers are rude, your raise is maybe 5/10cents a year if you’re lucky. You will be asked to stay for back to back shifts instead of them hiring someone new. I could go on but over all 0/10
