Pros

The culture and life long friends are great. Management is there to help the agents succeed with very little micro managing.

Cons

The company doesn't always post open positions and when they do it's just a formality then give the position to someone preselected. They brag about the billions the company is making but don't increase the pay to the employees.

Pros

-THE PEOPLE! Honestly, that is the best part about working at Wayfair. You will get to meet fantastic people. -Benefits. Subsidies on gyms like Equinox, Healthworks, and BSC. Moderately priced health insurance, FREE dental insurance, and cheap vision insurance. For parents, there is also a relationship with Care.com for backup care and Wayfair pays half the cost for 3 days of care per year. TONS of discounts with many other places.

Cons

-Simply put: Management (or the SEVERE lack thereof) stinks. Really stinks. You may luck out and get an experienced manager that will communicate effectively, challenge you, and really help you grow in your position...but unfortunately, those kinds of managers are the minority at Wayfair. Most of the management are people with little to no experience managing that fell in to the roles because they just happened to be there long enough. -You're expected to perform at high levels with little to no guidance and/or training. Self advocate, put more tasks on your already too full plate, and ultimately, spread yourself way too thin. There is NO work/life balance, well...only if you've been there long enough and can come and go as your please.
