Pros

When I worked at Waystar I worked with some bright dedicated folks, some from my legacy company, some from the larger team. Work anywhere was flexible enough.

Cons

They constantly praise their sales and talk big game about KLAS scores, but they take the operations and support teams that make that happen for granted. Turnover is insane, lots of brain drain.

Pros

Temporarily remote working environment. Not much else to mention.

Cons

Beware of fake reviews. If positive reviews seem too good to be true, it’s because they are. Very toxic environment even after a lot of restructuring. I was informed that problematic and unprofessional leadership would be let go only for many of those individuals to be promoted. There is a lack of communication and organization across departments. The company will blame this on growth but it’s the toxic culture (starting at the top) and a lack of those individuals to take accountability and put in the work to let employees know what’s going on, and then the blame or last minute fire drills fall on the team. I would stay away at all costs.

Pros

Gave out a lot of swag

Cons

After weeks of non-stop PowerPoint slides, covering tools that we’ve never seen before and most of us would never see again, we were given a week to review and present. No one had a true grasp on how the tools worked or felt confident presenting. Our commissions that were developed for years in our previous company were taken away completely after a period of time and our total income dropped dramatically.
