A few vice presidents do not live up to the values that the company preaches creating a some hypocrisy.

Pros

Mostly everything thus far. Orientation, onboarding, culture, benefits, and work/life balance have all well exceeded all prior employment for me, personally.

Cons

The hiring process was fairly brutal. From time of application to time of start date was around 3 months. Almost all communication with recruiter (internal, Waystar recruiter) was my initiative. I believe had I not been so determined to make it happen, and persistent - I probably would've been ghosted. Pay is okay. Not bad, but could be a little better.

Great co-workers and managers! Waystar encourages comradery, respect, & kindness from any department and level of seniority. Waystar assists individual providers and facilities with the Revenue Cycle Management process within the healthcare system. Everyone at Waystar knows a lot of information to assist those on finalizing payments for patients and providers.

Cons

A lot of information to retain and understand. Definitely suggest diving into the Revenue Cycle process within the healthcare field before getting a job with Waystar. It will help you better understand what is happening. It will also give you a leg up and a better overview.
