Pros

Waystar is a large cooperation that I feel is great for clients. Their goals are perfect for what they wish to be as a company.

Cons

Waystar cares a lot about their clients but they do not treat their employees fairly. We were continuously overworked and underpaid.

Pros

- Somewhat flexible on work-from-home - Folks are OK; some are nice, some are not, but it is not significantly different than anywhere else you might go. - Workplace does celebrate Derby well - If you're Sales, you definitely get special perks like trips and celebrated by the CEO who is conveniently also a former Salesperson.

Cons

- If you're not Sales or you're in a position where you have to work with Sales, expect that your needs will come second. - Salespeople get away with harassing other employees, including using slurs against LGTBQIA+ people. - Management can be as rude as they would like to their employees with little to no punishment for it. - Lots of turnover; almost everyone from my cohort has since left or been fired. - Many people don't reach the 3-year vestment mark for their 401ks and once it gets close, you either leave from the mediocre pay or you leave because they actively try and show you the door. - If you do not play into the culture or spend extra time here, it is definitely frowned on even if you have a family or other caretaking obligation, or even try and better yourself with school.
