Pros

Work with the most curious, smart and hardworking people. And that is from the top down. My first week on the job the CEO, Matt Hawkins, pulled my boss and I into a room and started white-boarding, encouraging a collaborative environment right from the start. Waystar is still young (the brand - 4 yrs) and with that comes opportunity. Everything we're doing is being done for the first time, so it's very exciting to be able to have a direct impact on the nurturing of the brand–from internal experiences to external campaigns. I am able to work with individual subject matter experts, wear different hats and grow continuously. The benefits are more generous than any company I've ever worked for. Working at Waystar is truly what you make of it. If you are looking for a fast-paced SaaS company, come join us in shaping the future of healthcare.

Cons

Heavy workload at times but management is understanding and helps to find balance.

Pros

I fully support and believe in the C-Suite leadership’s goals and vision for the future. New offices. Flexibility to work from home. Great COVID response.

Cons

While I feel the company as a whole strives for inclusion and diversity, there are still locations lacking diverse teams. I feel like an outcast of my team because there are regular team conversations that should never happen in a work setting. Sharing staunch political views and demeaning those who think differently is heartbreaking and uncomfortable to sit through. And just because you are not called out in a meeting for saying these things, doesn’t mean it is ok to continue to do so.
