Pros

Fast growing company that feels like a family, I made really great friends while I was here and had a great time. The people are genuine and smart, and there's lots of potential for career advancement if you show commitment and do well. Definitely a great place to be. The people also really know how to have fun at company events - one of the best perks, among many.

Cons

Processes were always changing, but as I was leaving (for personal reasons) I think they were starting to really get things down.

Pros

WebDAM has the best of both worlds...small company culture and fun atmosphere, and big-company backing (Shutterstock) for resources and benefits. It's a very fast-paced environment to take advantage of a crazy-good market opportunity. Flexible hours, can work from home, and a ton of ownership from day one. Very positive and un-political -- everybody just working together to be successful.

Cons

Maybe it's happening everywhere, but the health plan benefits are getting worse. Office space doesn't need to be fancy, but it feels a little bit run-down.

Pros

Friendly, chill, passionate, collaborative, and fun culture. People work hard but also know how to have fun. The company was recently acquired by Shutterstock (Fortune 100 company), and there are many perks and good stuff to be had (massage Fridays, smoothie Wednesdays, stocked fridge, etc). The company has acquired many very well regarded customers on the global level, and it's only on its way up.

Cons

It's not a 9-5. Expect to put in extra hours in order to do your job well. The work/life balance could definitely be better, but you've got to do what you got to do to get ahead. It all pays off in the end.
