Great people working on a complex problem

Pros

The main factor that drove my decision to accept a job at WebDAM was my interactions with the people. Everyone at WebDAM is working hard to achieve a big goal, but they are also incredibly welcoming, friendly, and capable. At other jobs, I've felt like I was competing against co-workers, and only one of us would succeed. WebDAM couldn't be more different. We all succeed together.

Cons

The only thing I don't love is the location. The location in San Mateo isn't near many stores or restaurants. You need to drive somewhere if you need to do any small errands.

Pros

This is the first company I've worked at where I actually think what I do impacts the company. There is a lot of great leadership in place and I have a lot in common with many of my colleagues. It's refreshing to work at a company that focuses on culture fit! The expectations of my role are clear, I see future career development and I like my manager.

Cons

Sometimes processes we share with Shutterstock can stall productivity which can be frustrating (as with any expanding, growing company).

Pros

The company is filled to the brim with smart, hard-working and wonderful people. And it doesn't hurt that we're shooting for dominance in an industry ripe for a runaway leader.

Cons

In a perfect world, the office would be right next to a BART station for easy access. But I can always go to the SF office to take a break from driving.
