Great company with fun, innovative, smart people
Pros
Weber Shandwick is a wonderful place to work. Without a doubt it's the best work environment I've experienced so far in my career. The people are incredibly smart, talented and always interested in doing top-quality work for clients. The collaboration between offices, practices, etc. is no joke and not an exaggeration. It's an amazing network of experts that are more than willing to jump in and help a colleague out - no matter where they are in the world or what team they're on. The leadership is fantastic. From what I've seen, managers care about their teams and employees' personal growth. And probably what's most interesting is how the company has changed over the years to keep up with and stay ahead of trends - in addition to traditional PR, we do content creation, social/digital, stuff like the firebell platform (social media crisis simulator), we do live broadcasting, etc. It's incredibly cool to work for such an innovative company. The office environment is fun but professional - always celebrating wins big and small. Benefits are great for industry standards. And in many ways it's the little things like the coffee bar and koi pond in NYC that just make it a pleasant place to come to every day. Simply put, if you want to work for a big agency, Weber Shandwick is the best, hands down.
Cons
Only con would have to be some of the internal technical systems (expenses, information sharing, etc.).
