Refused to support current clients by dropping support for many legacy products, rather than trying to retain and update. Jumped from platform to platform, which resulted in losing customers, money, but, at the same time, reluctant to adopt new technologies (still supporting VB6 code!). Middle management refused to look at (or believe) that changing technologies (such was Windows updates) would affect the products, then screamed when things broke.

I would expect more loyalty to the employees, especially long-term employees since it is a smaller company. I was VERY disappointed to find out that this was not the case. Non-compete agreement makes it difficult to find another job, even when you can see your division circling the drain. Low pay.
