Pros

Weidenhammer offers competitive salaries along with outstanding health and retirement benefits. While the role wasn't exactly what I expected, I was able to, at times, contribute to how SEO business was conducted, and even build new processes. You'll work with some great client brands, and also meet and work with colleagues who have worked at the company for years and strive hard to deliver a quality product.

Cons

The management at Weidenhammer needs additional training to create collaborative, positive, and results-focused teams. For much of my time, I felt like I worked for a boss, not a leader, which was disappointing, and contributed to my decision of leaving my position with less than a year of employment. Modernization is also needed. Many companies today offer a "bucket" of PTO, whereas Weidenhammer had vacation time, personal time, sick time, etc. Some companies today even offer unlimited PTO. Lastly, there were a few times political conversations took place in company-approved communications programs, like Slack. Political comments were made in front of the entire team and any adult with a pulse can understand how this can be an issue, especially for those with differing views.

Pros

No longer anything positive. Keep looking

Cons

Let see, if you like the term staff reduction- this is the place for you. Used to be 190 employees, now with the sell off of the education side, and more cuts, down to 110. People who have 25 years in with the company, nearing retirement…cut. You have to ask yourself, is this someone you want to work for? Keep looking, there are so many better options out there, in and out of the IT field.

Weidenhammer sold the Education division to enable the organization to focus on our core competencies in commercial services. We were pleased to find a buyer who kept all the Team Members employed, at the same rate of pay, and with excellent benefits. To aid in the transition we paid the benefits for all employees until the new company’s benefits were in place. A majority of employees of the former education division that was sold are reporting that they have found an excellent home with lots of opportunities and are delighted with the transfer. We wish all our former Team Members well, as we focus our strategy on sustaining a competitive advantage in the digital marketplace.

Pros

If you're a male, you will do well.

Cons

If you are a female... you will get ousted for providing your opinions... even when asked.

All of our Sales Managers have been with us for at least over 9 years so this is a very confusing review. Weidenhammer prides itself on Team Member feedback and honest communication with all genders. We regret whatever misunderstanding occurred in this situation.
