Pros

Work life balance, fun place to work, relaxed yet professional, everyone is helpful and genuinely nice! Fruit Wednesdays, social events to ensure connection across teams.

Cons

I personally can't think of anything.

Pros

Lots of promotion possibilities. I have had 4 promotions since starting in 2017. The company this year will grow very quickly too, so hoping for one or two more!

Cons

Its a start up company so you need to have an adaptive nature and understanding of working for a start up.

Pros

The business is growing massively in 2019 with lots of great opportunities as a result. The tech stack is very interesting and the data volumes are massive so if you are interested in solving tough technical problems then it certainly has a lot of potential.

Cons

Historically wejo has suffered a bit from changes in direction. That has caused quite a lot of negative reviews on glassdoor as those changes have affected people's jobs. Some of the departments in IT aren't firing on all cylinders and that can be frustrating as it results in simple things becoming complicated and teams get stuck behind frustrating blockers. Strangely this results in some teams being under utilised.

Thanks for sharing your experience, we really appreciate it. We started back in 2014 with a vision to use connected car data to make driving safer, smarter and better for everyone. That vision still stands today as we are driven to provide ‘smarter journeys for all,’ but how we fulfil this has evolved over the years as we have learnt, grown and adapted to provide the best service possible. And we’re still growing today! Now is a great time to join us, especially in the tech teams where, as you say, there’s the opportunity to work with innovative tech and a transformative volume of data. Great advice too, we are always working on improving our processes but will absolutely feed this back to the relevant people/teams. We hope you continue to enjoy your journey here with us and we are glad to have you on board!
