Complete Joke

Pros

Good talented people who are under appreciated

Cons

Place is a complete joke. If you have drive/ideas, this is not the place for you. It's a soul draining place. They are more interested with bombarding you with some nonsense emails throughout the day to make you think the place cares about you. Stop with the emails throughout the day. You work all year to actually try and make a difference/help. Come review time, they have this idiotic system with ranking 1-5, yet no one can ever get a 5 because they consider that God like ranking. If its not achievable then why have it? Then the big raise. A whopping 2. 5% . Any random year, inflation is in the area of 3%, slightly up or down. This year, inflation is over 6%, What a complete joke. That on top of the ever rising crappy health benefits options, actually means you will be taking home less this upcoming year vs the last year. The new president and COO I'm sure we're a bargain over the previous folks. So cheap you had to import them from other states. So that means, they weren't cheap. Yet, all this place can give you is 2.5 raise? They can't even get to 3%. You know what that translates to? Don't try and just mail it in like everyone else, cuz it makes not difference what you do for this place. What a disgrace.

Pros

If you want a solid job that will pay descent and have great benefits than this is the place to come for the golden handcuffs. Your not going to be making money hand over fist but it will be a step up from a lot of other customer service based call center jobs when it comes to the stability you can get from this position and the benefits. The management is also very nice at least to your face and you can work from home.

Cons

On paper it all sounds great but this is where the good news ends. You will be expected to be flawless with your metrics and attendance including down to the minute when it comes to breaks. You will be set up to fail and asked to do impossible things with metrics that contradict eachother and systems that are extremely flawed. You will get training and random emails that are not organized and leave you hung out to dry. I did this job for over five years and the first time they found anything wrong with one of my calls they started to harrass me and do a lot of very unprofessional stuff to get me to quit including planting callers to antagonize me. They will not support you everything is lip service. When I went to HR with my troubles they basically showed me the door even after it was clear that I was being targeted stereotyped and discriminated against. They have their favorites and if your not one of them this is not going to end well for you. Your basically signing a deal with the devil for some stability that is likely to expire once they have decided that they have got the best out of you and can't pinch anymore blood out of a turnip. The better you do? The more they want out of you, as if you are some kind of robot. Meanwhile their favorites can break the rules because they have a completely different set of rules. In fact they usually do break the rules in order to meet all the metrics that are required because that is what you have to do. There is no loyalty if you are not one of the few favorites and you are worthless and disposable to them. The new hires are always the favorites and are treated with gold, the veterans and people who have been busting their backs for years for them? An afterthought at best.
