The biggest issue at WellSky is their lack of leadership at all levels from the CEO to the team leads on their support teams. The truth is WellSky is buying its time, they are fudging the books as best as possible so they can look good when they have the chance to sell the company. The entire C suite is absent when it comes to anything but pushing sales and that is due to the fact that selling your problems and making them someone else's problem is the easiest way for them to solve the mountain of issues. Each level of management is only concerned with their manager's expectations and nothing more. A little report shuffling here and a little "look at customer review stats" here and you don't get fired for the time being. Documentation is lacking company wide and so you should fully expect to walk into a dumpster fire where everyone depends on a select few people who have been with the company long term. We have been under staffed for 4 years and it eats away at everyone to the point that I have been in meetings where people physically break down and start crying from the stress. I worked in a specific part of the company that assists state agencies and a lot of govenment contracts. If you want to see corporate waste this is the place, in fact I believe this place should be investigated for mishandling government contracts and funds. WellSky doesn't reinvest in itself as much as it uses the money for C suite bonsuses and buying their competitors to add other company profits to their portfolio. They have aquired many companies in my time there and all of those companies have less than 90% of the original staff and the products are barely functioning. For those in KS City do not believe them about WFH as they will force you into the office because they are getting tax breaks from the city/state to have you sitting in seats. I truly feel for the people I left behind at the company and wish I could bring them out into salvation from the void of pain and despair that is WellSky as a whole.
