Pros

- There are pockets of knowledgable, kind people. - They try to create an inclusive environment. - Clean working conditions and nice bathrooms.

Cons

- RTO when most of the teams you directly work with are remote. - Poorly trained management, who are more concerned about their own motives and success than supporting their team. - Appearance that there is structure, documentation, and planning to streamline and standardize processes. However, these are restrictive, and while innovation is encouraged, there's always a reason why it can't or won't work. - Leadership and HR are cold and unfeeling. They're there to support their own interests, very self-serving, lacking empathy or even the understanding of basic human decency. They will also find any way possible to "manage out" those that don't fit their initiatives or doctrine. - Lots of ex-Cerner employees leads to a perpetuation of the "in crowd" culture that many experienced at Cerner. - Pay is on the low end with little to no growth trajectory defined.

Pros

If you can have other opportunities, I would strongly encourage you to pursue those instead. - Compensation is fine. It will pay the rent. - A few people are pleasant to work with.

Cons

- The company is bureaucratic. - Turnover was high due to quitting, firings, layoffs, etc. - Communication and feedback was top-down. Managers solicit feedback and ignore it. - Meetings are numerous and run long. 1 to 4 hours per day was common. - Deadlines are absolute. You will be punished for work that misses the deadline. - The work environment can be hostile. Middle managers can be bullies.

Pros

Coworkers, workload, pay, work-life balance

Cons

Job security. I got let go right before Thanksgiving and Christmas, and right after I returned from maternity leave.
