Incompetent management, retaliatory atmosphere, management will fabricate statements you didn't say and invent situations that did not occur and use them against you. You can do your very best to take care of your patients, nurses, and providers every day, working under high-stress, conditions with no support from your coworkers at other sites. Meanwhile, other employees can get away with worse behaviors and unsafe sterile compounding practices with no consequences. Information you need to do your job is withheld from you, and then you are blamed for not knowing what is going on. The "Safety Principles" are not used; 200% accountability is not encouraged. However, backstabbing your coworkers is highly rewarded. When you report issues of concern via appropriate channels, you encounter retaliation. The whole "People Care" advertisement mantra does not apply to employees.
